DAO wrapper
A legal entity adopted by a decentralised organisation to give it legal personality and limit member liability.
An unwrapped DAO may be treated as a general partnership in some jurisdictions, which would expose members personally to its obligations. A wrapper resolves that and gives the organisation the ability to contract, hold assets and be sued.
A wrapper is not a tax answer. Home-jurisdiction rules, controlled-foreign-company regimes, place of effective management and substance tests all continue to apply to the members and to the entity.
