Subledger

A system that ingests on-chain and venue activity, classifies it and produces accounting entries for the general ledger.

Enterprise accounting systems cannot parse a wallet address or a transaction hash, so most businesses end up running two workflows and bridging them by hand at month end. A subledger exists to remove that bridge.

Selection matters less than implementation: chart of accounts design, address attribution rules, transaction classification and the pricing source hierarchy determine whether the output is usable, and none of that comes out of the box.
